Demonstrations

SCAN sponsors two demonstration every month, each featuring a professional artist who shares tips and techniques in a specific medium.

Demonstration Schedule:

An evening meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30PM (except in December & February)

An afternoon meeting on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 1:30PM (except in November & December; November date subject to change)

A biography of the artists and complete details of the demonstrations are included  on this website and in SCAN INK, our newsletter, which members receive monthly.

All Demonstration are held in the Newtown Meeting House at 31 Main Street, Newtown, CT (lower level), EXCEPT:  January Demonstration is held at the Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street, Newtown, Ct. 

Demonstrations are open to the public and free.  All are welcome.
