Exhibits

SCAN sponsors several art exhibits each year. The shows give the public the opportunity to see and purchase works of art by local artists. 

We accept original work in the following media: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, graphics, mixed media and printmaking. In addition, we accept sculpture in our Annual Juried Art Show. We do not accept photography, computer generated prints or commercial reproductions in any shows.

Color in Winter Art Show & Sale

Open to members only, this month long show is held at the Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose St, Newtown CT.

Juried Art Show & Sale

Open to all artists (non-members & members), This month long show includes awards. This show is held at Art & Frame 77 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

Summer Show & Sale

Open to members only, this month to two month long show. This show is held at the Newtown Library, 25 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

Flagpole Painters Art Show & Sale (open studio only)

Open to members who participate in open studio only, held at Art & Frame 77 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

Small Works Show & Sale

Open to members only, this one-day event is held in December at the Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street, Newtown, CT.

REFUND POLICY:  We do not offer refunds once registration and payment for a show is paid.  All transactions are final.
